I have over 20 years experience of teaching and leading the Early Years Foundation Stage. I have also held Assistant and Deputy headship positions but always retaining close links with early years. I spent several years working with Croydon early years team, moderating the Foundation Stage Profile and sharing good practice with other schools in the borough.
I am a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) for early years and lead training courses for both teachers and School Direct students, at the teaching school at West Thornton Primary Academy in Croydon. In this capacity, I have successfully worked with both schools and individual teachers to develop their practice and move teaching and learning forward. Feedback on the training has been excellent and delegates have commented on the positive impact this has had on both provision and teaching and learning. You can see some of the feedback below.
